We do not take require any credit card information from you directly. We redirect you to PayPal.com, 2Checkout.com, or EBS, and these payment gateways process the subscription fee for us. These payment gateways accept all Indian and International Credit Cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club International, and Discover Card etc. along with Indian Bank Transfers.
If you don’t have a Credit/Debit card, you can always make a payment directly into our bank account by depositing cash, demand draft, or cheque (payable at par). In such a case, we are required to close your account with us. In order to re-activate your account, you must contact Paypal.com, 2Checkout.com and EBS or your Credit/Debit card company and inquire the reasons regarding failure directly from one of these parties.
Yes, you may subscribe for one month only, if you desire. You may sign in to the website and click on "Manage Account" and follow the instructions to cancel your subscription. You will then receive an email from us within 24 hours confirming the cancellation of recurring charges. Your subscription would then expire at the end of one month.
Yes, you can convert your monthly subscription into a yearly subscription. In order to do so, please sign in to the website and click on "Manage Account" and follow the instructions to cancel your subscription. When your present subscription period expires, you can renew for one year.
If you desire to cancel your subscription, you may sign in to our website and click on "Manage Account," where you can follow the instructions given to cancel your subscription. You will receive an email confirmation from MeraGana.com as well as 2Checkout.com or Paypal.com confirming the cancellation of the recurring charges within 24 hours as per your request.
After logging in with your username and password please click on "Manage Account" and select the "Change Password" option. You will be required to enter your old password, and then asked to enter a new password.
Please select "Edit Profile" if you want to change your address and contact details. In order to change your username, please send us an email requesting the same.
Connecting to TV or other devices
How to Chromecast MeraGana from your Android phone or tablet to your TV.
Note:
1. Casting your Android screen is available on devices running Android 4.4.2 or higher.Please note: Some devices have been optimized for screen casting so your experience may vary.
2. Casting your Android screen is not supported on iOS or Windows devices.
3. Please be sure to turn off "Power Saving Mode" on your Android device. Power Saving Mode can limit the processing power of your device which might affect the performance of the Cast Screen feature.
4. Important: The "Microphone" permission in the Google Play Services app needs to be turned on to successfully use the 'Cast Screen/Audio' feature with Chromecast. If you don't have this permission turned on, then the Cast Screen session will immediately disconnect after trying to connect.
5. To turn on microphone permissions:
a) On your Android device, tap Settings
b) Scroll down and tap Apps > Google Play Services > Permissions.
c) Look for "Microphone" and slide the slider
Cast your screen from your Android device
1. Connect your Android device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast or TV with Chromecast built-in.
2. Open the Google Home app .
3. In the top left corner of the home screen, tap > Cast Screen / audio > Cast Screen / audio.
4. Select your Chromecast or TV with Chromecast built-in.
Stop casting your screen from your Android device
From the notification drawer:
1. Pull down the notification drop down drawer on your Android device.
2. Tap Disconnect on the notification bar.
From the Google Home app:
1. Open the Google Home app Chromecast cast icon.
2. Tap Cast Screen / audio > Disconnect.
Adjust the volume when casting your Android screen
1. Open the Google Home app .
2. In the upper right corner of the home screen, tap Devices to see your available Chromecast or TV with Chromecast built-in.
3. Scroll to find the device card for the Chromecast or TV with Chromecast built-in that is currently casting content.
4. Tap the Volume button on the device card.
5. Move the slider to the left or right to adjust the volume.

How to Chromecast MeraGana from your computer to your TV
A. You will need
1. Chromecast Dongle
2. The Chrome Browser for your operating system
3. The Google Cast extension for the Chrome Browser
4. The Chrome cast setup program for your operating system.
Please note:
The Chrome cast dongle does not seem to remember the setting of more than 1 wifi network. So please reset it by pressing the button the dongle in case you are changing networks.
B. Steps
1. Plug in the Chromecast Dongle into a HDMI input slot in your TV.
2. Plug in the USB to give power to your Chromecast Dongle and connect the wire to the Chromecast Dongle.
3. Start the Chromecast setup program and connect to the Chromecast Dongle through the your Wifi.
4. Start your Chrome Browser and install the Google Cast Extension
5. After installing the Google Cast Extension you should see the Google Cast icon on the top right hand side as shown in the image below:
6. Clicking on the icon you will see your device
7. Click on "Cast to" and Choose your desired option of casting.
C. How to Chrome Cast the MeraGana player to your TV from your Laptop.
1. Start your Chrome browser and open a new TAB or Window in the Chrome browser and sign into MeraGana.com.
2. Play any song
3. The player will open in another TAB or Window. Right click (on the spot shown below) on the top bar of the player (see example below) and a popup will show (see 4 below).
4. Click on Show as Tab as shown below
5. You will then see the tab and on the right hand corner you will see the icon for the casting (see below).
6. Clicking on the icon you will see the popup below:
7. Click on Chromecast
8. And MeraGana will be shown on the TV.
9. Click on Stop casting to stop.
10. Note that you need not close the player's window and can go back to the window with the MeraGana website and play songs from that window and the songs will continue to be shown on the TV.

In order to change the tempo and pitch (scale or key) of the song being played you have to change your default Karaoke player to the player which can change the tempo and pitch (scale or key). Please login and then go to Manage Account and select "MeraGana Karaoke Player WITH Pitch/Scale and Tempo adjustment" as your default player as shown below.

No, you may not download a track if you are using our main website online. You can, however, download a track if you are using our MeraGana Offline Karaoke Player.
Yes, you may record while a track is being played using our audio software, which has stereo mix as an input.
On our system, we have two types of audio tracks. Here, “guide” means a music instrument (like a piano or harmonium etc.) playing the words of the song as an accompaniment. You can select between "audio with guide (cue)" and "audio without guide (no cue)." The “audio with guide” option is present for practice while the “audio without guide” option is recommended for experienced singers.
No, you do not need to download any special software in order to use our services. You only require any Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Smart Phone or iOS Device (iPhone, iPad, iPod, iTouch) which has Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7, Linux, MacOS, Android, iOS etc., compatible with Macromedia Flash version 8 or higher or any browser which supports HTML5.
No, you cannot use your username to sign-in to more than one system (or device) at the same time.
Request a song
Yes, in case you find your favourite song(s) has not been updated in our library, you can request any song of your choice once you become an active subscriber. If the relevant music company permits us, we will make and upload a karaoke version of your song to our library. If the song you request has already been requested by another subscriber, it may be ready within about 60 days, otherwise the process may take between 90 to 120 days.
We add songs on a weekly basis (generally every Friday) and inform our members about newly added songs, website updates etc. through our weekly newsletter.
Sing in a public place
No, you are not permitted to use the track for a public performance. If you wish to undertake a public performance, you must obtain the necessary license from PPL and IPRS if you are in India, or the equivalent of these in your home country. If you have further queries regarding this or need additional help on the matter, please email us.
Quality of track
Yes, you can check the quality of any song by clicking on the play button against the title. It will then play a 30 second demo.
The sound quality you experience will depend on the speaker of your system. Better quality speakers will produce better quality sound.
Correction of song
If the lyrics of a song appear incomplete, it could be due to the fact that we possess a different version of the song. We do encourage you to send us an email highlighting your concerns and queries regarding a specific song, as well as your suggested corrections. Please note to include the complete detail of the song as listed on our website. We shall review your query, make the necessary corrections and inform you of the changes as soon as possible.
Can I Purchase Karaoke Songs?
MeraGana.com does not sell the tracks or songs.
However, you can buy the MeraGana Karaoke Studio Microphone available on KS.MeraGana.com which has 1000 songs on a SD card. You can download more songs from KS.MeraGana.com after paying the subscription.
