1. How can I register?

You have to register yourself here and have to pay the stipulated amount to access MeraGana's Karaoke library.

2. Which Credit/Debit cards do you accept?

We do not ask you for any credit card information. We redirect you to either PayPal.com, 2Checkout.com or EBS and these payment gateways process the subscription for us. They accept all Indian or International Credit Cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club International & Discover, etc. along with Indian Bank Transfers.

3. How do I become a subscriber if I do not have a Credit/Debit card?

If you don't have a Credit/Debit card then you can make payments directly to our bank account by depositing cash, Demand Draft or Cheque (Payable at par) or you can send us the payment (except cash) through courier to our office address. Our address and bank details are given below.

4. Can the payment "fail" after paying by a Credit/Debit card?

Our credit card payments are handled by Paypal.com, 2Checkout.com and EBS and there is a chance they could fail the payment. In case they have failed the payment we are required to close your account with us. You can contact Paypal.com, 2Checkout.com and EBS or your Credit/Debit card company and inquire the reasons for the failure directly from them.

5. Can I check the quality of the song(s) before registering?

Yes, you can check the quality of any song by clicking on the play button against the song. It will the play a 30 second demo.

6. What do I do when a message showing "Already Registered" appears when I am trying to register?

If a message showing "Already Registered" appears when you are registering, then please log into the website with your username and password which you had used during your earlier registration. You will automatically be taken to the payment page, then please select your payment option and pay online. The system will not re-register you with the same username.

7. Can I subscribe for one month only?

Yes, you can subscribe for one month only, if you desire. After you register and make payment, please log in to the website and click on "Manage Account" and follow the instructions to cancel your subscription. You will then receive an email within 24 hours from us confirming cancellation of recurring charges. Your subscription then would expire at the end of one month.

8. Can I convert my monthly subscripiton into a yearly subscription?

Yes, you can convert your monthly subscription into a yearly subscription, please log in to the website and click on "Manage Account" and follow the instructions to cancel your subscription. When your present subscription period expires, you can renew for one year.

9. How do I cancel the subscription?

If you desire to cancel your subscription, you have to log in to our website and click on "Manage Account". Please follow the instructions given to cancel your subscription. You will receive an email confirmation from MeraGana as well as 2Checkout.com or Paypal.com confirming the cancellation of the recurring charges within 24 hours of your request.

10. Can I offer the subscription as a gift to my friend(s)?

Yes, you can offer the subscription to your friend(s). In order to do this you need to fill the valid details of your friend(s) while paying the subscription fee, or you may email us and request us for some special "promo codes", which you can pass to your friend(s).

11. What is the sound quality of the track?

The sound quality you experience will depend on the speaker of your system. Better quality speakers will produce better quality sound.

12. Can I access the songs instantly after paying the subscription fee?

Yes, you can access the songs instantly, provided your subscription fee has been processed by us and your account activated.

13. Can I download the track?

No, you cannot download a track if you are using our online. You can download a track, however, if you are using our MeraGana Offline Karaoke Player.

14. Can I record the track?

Yes, you can record the track while it is being played by using any audio software which uses the stereo mix as the input.

15. Can I make my own playlist or favourtites list?

Yes, you can make your own playlist or favourites list. After you log in, please go to "Manage Playlist".

16. Can I listen to the song with guide or without guide?

There are two audio tracks that we have on our system. You can select between "audio with guide (cue)" and "audio without guide (no cue)". The reason we have kept two tracks is for a person to practice with the "audio with guide" and then sing along with the "audio without guide".

17. How do I change my password/username?

After logging in with your username and password please click on "Manage Account" and then please click on "Change Password". Enter your current password and then enter the new password and follow the steps. To change your Username, please send us an email requesting to us to change the username.

18. Is there any software that I need to download?

No, you do not need any special software to be downloaded. You just need any Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Smart Phone or iOS Device (iPhone, iPad, iPOD, iTouch) which has Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7, Linux, MacOS, Android, iOS etc., compatible with Macromedia Flash version 8 or higher or any Browser which supports HTML5.

19. Can I request my favourite song if it is not available on MeraGana's list?

Yes, you can request any song of your choice after you become a subscriber. If the song requested is permitted to us by the related music company, we shall make it and upload it. If the song requested by you has already been requested by another subscriber, it may be ready within about 60 days, else it may take between 75 to 90 days.

20. How often are new songs added to MeraGana's list?

We add songs on a weekly basis (generally every Friday) and inform every member by sending a newsletter containing the list of the newly added songs.

21. Can I use the track to sing in public or for a public performance?

You are not permitted to use the track for a public performance. If you need to have a Public Performance, you must obtain the necessary license from PPL and IPRS if you are in India, or the equivalent of these in your country. If you need further help regarding this, please email us.

22. Can I use my username on more than one system at the same time?

No, you cannot use your username or log in into more than one system at the same time.

23. What if I find that the lyrics of a song are incomplete or have an error or there is a general problem with the song.

If the lyrics are incomplete it could be due to the fact that we have a different version of that song. You can send us an email mentioning the problem and the suggested correction with full details of that song. We shall make the corrections at our end and inform you of the change as soon as possible.
